Calling all turtles!

Sue DiPalma made a great suggestion to Kate. The wedding rings that Vince carries should be tied with ribbon to one of the turtles from my Mom's collection. So we're putting out the challenge. Who has the lucky turtle???? Kate is partial to the idea of a crystal turtle, but is willing to consider all suggestions.

A noble attempt

Not long ago several of us convened at the Livermore residence to discuss thematic details for the upcoming nuptials to be held at the Maine House. I appointed Susan in charge of chipmunks. Nothing says rustic Maine like Chipmunks running the old stone wall. And we do not want to disappoint any attendee that expects at least one chipmunk sighting.

Imagine my delight when I opened this email from Susan. It is apparent to me she is one who takes her appointed duties quite seriously. I am sharing this inspiring story with all of you...

I call this story, "A noble attempt"



Dear Aunt Ellen,

I was on a run by the river yesterday morning when a desirable crossed my path. Unfortunately, due to shortness of breath and unfailingly human reflexes, I was unable to make the capture. That little sucker saw me coming. I also lacked a proper containment vessel, though was prepared to forge one with my teeth from an obliging log. My apologies for my failure in this instance, though in the future I aim to please -- I am planning a trapping system harnessed from a bridge near the projected dwelling. After that, we just have to navigate inter-state transportation laws.
